This is cool!  Very nice.  What does the grass texture look like in the alpha areas?  It looks like there is a white glow around the blades.  If that isn't intentional, you can fill in the alpha areas with a color similar to the grass.  That will clear the white rim, unless the white rim is intentional.   Either way, this looks great.

Wow, really nice. How did you get the lighting to be so sharp? Whenever I add lighting to something in UDK, it always appears more cartoony and smooth

i think creating my own sky map really helped with the lighting scheme also I just tweaked the version of one of their standard sunlights.
